About The Project
7959 Beverly Blvd Apartments, a 119-unit residential building with a central courtyard, represents a blend of the existing architectural styles typically found in Fairfax & Beverly-Grove corridors in central LA. Fairfax consists of predominantly brick-clad structures, supporting commercial retail, offices and communications uses, whereas the Beverly-Grove corridor is home to more modern materials of glass, metal, and stucco with a low-rise scale.
The Beverly Blvd Apartments combines these architectural typologies by creating a 5-Story building with continuous brick podium at the street level, exposing a glass retail volume. The upper levels consist of a stucco envelope with a composition of modules of slanted, colored fiber cement boards & glazing, replicating the modern-industrial feel of the neighborhood.
At the 5th floor, the units facing the street have large private open terraces and the roof have occupied common roof decks, complete with a fire pit, BBQ area, pool and complemented with lush landscaping.
Design and entitlements are on-going and construction is expected to start at the end of 2022
