Emmanuel Sandoval

Iced vanilla lattes no matter the time of year, cookie connoisseur, never said no to a mezcal margarita w/ a tajin rim, always exploring, are just a few ways to describe this native Angeleno. Working in this profession for over 10+ years I’ve had the opportunity to learn from mentors, peers, and some very talented contractors. However, the thing I’m most proud of is being able to drive around LA and look to the various projects I’ve contributed to and say that I left a mark on this city of angels I love so much.

Tao Xu

Master of Science in Design, University of Pennsylvania

Chinese architect Tao Xu got the Bachelor of Architecture degree at his hometown. Before entering into the team, he also studied at University of Pennsylvania where he obtained Master of Science in Design degree with a concentration in Advanced Architectural Design.

He has great knowledge about parametric design and also publishes work in the magazine Antagonismos about the study of combining Baroque church with parametric design. He is obsessed of the experience of spaces in architecture and loves to drop by to them in person. After graduation, Tao can’t stand the rainy, cloudy and cold days in east coast and was attracted by the weather (and girlfriend) of the Los Angeles and joined the JZA team where he focuses more on residential design and how to create better spaces for living.
